30 Hour Famine	03/05/2007		Homelessness Hunger Nutrition	This project has been an annual project in my church. Each year we all go out and ask people to sponsor us to not eat for 30 hours to represent how children in Africa live each day. 2900 children die each day from starvation and malnutrition. During the fast all of the participants come to the church and turn in our donations. Then we join together in worship and prayer and play games. We don't do anything specific to prepare for ourselves, there will be emergency supplies if they are necessary, but other than that we will fast for the 30 hours and the youth leaders will provide pizza and drinks at the end of the fast.	1833 ratings
